Built for Mendip Granite & Asphalt Co Ltd for use at their
Cranmore Quarry, Shepton Mallet. It was used on their two-foot gauge
mineral line that served their waterlip quarry, the line ran from Cranmore
station on the GWR east Somerset branch and was extended in 1907 to
serve Downhead quarry.
Closure in 1925 resulted in 'Gamecock' being sold to Roads
Reconstruction Ltd. Later being scrapped in 1927
